Did i mention that a random Fraternity trying to get a foothold at Drexel was referred to me as a potential startup member through Student Activities? I thought it was rather ironic, considering that half of the people on campus seem to think i’m gay, and the other half know i’m a feminist. At first i honestly thought it was one of those oft rumoured gay-frats and i was entirely prepared to be offended at the fact that S.A. assumed i was gay, but it turns out to be a very well connected national organization with an excellent reputation. Of course, that just makes me dislike them more. I agreed to meet with them for some information and possible dinner on Thursday night (i plan to be home for will & grace, don’t worry)(gee, why does everyone think i’m gay?), but i’m pretty much prepared to give them a thanx-but-no-thanx. Aside from my disdain towards traditional Greek organizations (my fraternity is co-ed, and technically not greek), i honestly don’t have the time or the interest to be a charter member of a new Fraternity. If i truly wanted to be in a Frat, i’d just join AXP, which is by far the most respected one here at Drexel. Of course, if i lived in a frat-house it’d be a lot harder to sneak all the freshmen boys up to my bedroom :p
