ElectricBiscuit is back, sorta. I’m not sure exactly what’s going on, but it seems to have returned on its one year anniversary with a dead-simple layout. I wonder how long that’ll last.

Joining webrings is an interesting exercise for me. Way back when i ran a fanfic site, and to drum up interest and traffic i joined about 10 old-fashioned webrings with their mammoth graphics and clunky source code. Now it’s a bit different, partially because rings are fleeing from the yahoo-bought WebRing.com in droves. Rings now are represented just as often by a simple line of text as they are by bandwidth-sucking graphics. And, almost every ring proclaims that it is looking for “quality layout and content.” Of course, no two people have the same opinion of what is truely quality, which means someone’s elite ring might be someone else’s pile of steaming crap. Yesterday i finally gave in a joined the three seemingly most prevalent blog-rings currently around. I’m sure these links will increase my daily hitcount to a degree, but i’m more concerned with the company i’m keeping. I obviously formed an opinion of the rings based on the few members i read daily, but that’s sortof like judging all of Blogger by only reading PowerBlogger (oh, wait, i do that too). In the end i suppose it’s no big deal, but i heartily approve of all the links i feature on my page, and i just wince at the thought of someone being lead to a blog i’d find dull and uninteresting just because i was greedy enough to join three webrings in one day. Gosh, i really talk in circles, don’t i? Back to cleaning, or maybe paper-writing. But not Trio-ing.

Anyone who thinks i’d call 911 if pursued by an amorous female has obviously not been paying as much attention as they claim to be paying :p

Interlude#1:
Ears – Ben Folds Five “Don’t Change Your Plans”
Cleaning – The closet, in which a huge bin of stuff was overturned yesterday
Found – A shiny new wallet, two books of stamps, a cute girl’s #, a sticker that says “whipped,” my checkbook
Still looking for – The case to my winter cd, the rest of my guitar picks
Linked from – Matt Pollard, for the first time in ages

I am now officially on a cleaning, paper-writing, trio-ing binge, and as such will not be blogging unless i am procrastinating. In such a case, do not read what i am saying, unless it is interesting. Thank You
