You know what’s funny? You can’t take a song back. I can never take “under my skin” back. Not that i want to! But, it’s strange because my feelings for anyone else are always going to be somewhat held up against songs like “under my skin,” at least in my mind. I wish i could just say: “Look, i feel this, see, isn’t it pretty.” But that was an emotion that had it’s own time and place and it’s rather unfair for me to invoke it again when i should be feeling totally new and different things… which means nothing from my next demo is likely to be played at my wedding…
