“Gone” is one of the best things i’ve ever recorded. Amazing. Gina came down and i swear the first words out of her mouth were “Hey, do you know some Madonna song called ‘Gone’?” and i thought i would faint. As luck would have it, i had recorded “Gone” upon returning from the Madonna concert last Sunday, but i decided it clipped the microphone too much and was about to rerecord it anyway. Twenty minutes later we had this. Note the competent solos and harmonies. That is all.
