Do you like free music? Do you also like me? The intersection of those two interests is my first album since 2001, Brown Bag Demos, Vol. 1.
Brown Bag Demos collects a dozen of my favorite acoustic demos – including many you’ve heard here – all newly remastered. The album is available for free streaming and download at BandCamp. You can DL in any format you’d like – from MP3 to Ogg Vorbis to FLAC.

Hey there,
I was stuck on an unbelievably awful commute the other day, and your Demo kept me company.
It not only kept me from going postal, but actually made me smile. It seems like a much more personal collection of songs, as compared to the more general AC stuff. I couldn’t help thinking “Wow, someone loves my sister THAT much” on some of the songs (Something Real and Crazy for You). It felt like a replay of the awesome adorable feeling of you guys’s wedding.

I definitely resist giving the more personal tunes to AC, because the repertoire is smaller and the songs wind up being played CONSTANTLY. Both “Unengaged” and “Tattooed” were almost AC songs, but I pulled them back at the last second.
