Got another one! It used that same silly strategy, too. They must inbreed in this house. Kill count now up to 11. Hoping the apartment has mice. Please god, let it have mice.

I’ll take mice over roach-y things any day. Any. Day. I just killed a deceptively tiny roach thing that was crawling around on my desk. First he tried to escape by hiding under my speaker, but that went flying across the room so he scuttered under my moniter which almost went flying too except for the fact that he then darted under the mammoth pile of cds on my desk. I picked them off one by one with one hand (while holding an entire roll of toilet paper in my other so that i could squash him with minimum ick-factor (ultra-absorbant)) like a ref peeling players off of a tackle to see who has the ball underneath (or something like that). Finally i cleared away the last few and he just sat there as if my vision was based on movement like a T-Rex.
To tell you the truth, it sorta is, but revulsion will do in a pinch. I squashed the fucker six ways to sunday and threw about a quarter of the toilet paper roll in the trash along with him. That brings my kills&assists count for this year up to 10. Go me!

A little over a week ago i mentioned that my hair is to my site’s layout as my handwriting is to my singing. Well, now that you know a little bit about my hair i suppose i should talk about my site.
Whenever i mention my website i’m not really referring to crushing krisis but to Krisis Productions, which has been around for a little over two years. The two main layouts on my site are the splash page layout and the layout of AMkitchen, which used to be the only section of the site.
The AMkitchen layout, which used to be the only section of the site, started out as a basic vertically split frame. It stayed that way until it began to look a bit too clunky, at which point i ditched it in favor of a horizontally split frame. Other than the frames, the page had hardly changed an inch since i first created it. Earlier this year i changed the main part of the site over to a transparent table to clear up its layout, and last month i finally added a logo (with a fun random js component) to the top frame and simplified the opening layout. Even after all of those changes, a visitor from two years would probably still recognize the site, with the possible exception of the first lower frame that loads..
The splash layout used to be rather basic and black, but after i accumulated a few more satellite sections (like this one) i decided for the first time to go graphical. The first graphic menu incorporated basic mouseovers: the image of a section changed so that you could see the name of the section as you were about to click on it. Earlier this year i decided that the layout was a bit too dark, so i switched to a simple layout based on the infamous picture of clouds that also adorns my demo cd. The mouseover technique stayed the same, although now it switched two images. Finally, in June i decided that i needed to upgrade the layout again, so i switched to the current one. It is much more graphically intense, and offers many more options, but it’s very concise once you learn how to use it correctly. It still uses the same mouseover techniques, slightly enhanced. So, really, my whole site is still mostly functioning on the same code it began with.

Right now my hair is bothering me a bit. Sure, it looked cute when i got it all chopped off last month. But, my hair grows at highly irregular speeds so now it has managed to crawl back into my eyes. The cool golden frost that was left over from when i lightened my hair in march just now looks like a nasty blond as the brown from underneath it shows through. The sides of my head, which were nearly shaved when i first got the cut, are now at a shag-carpet-like length where they refuse to point in one direction all at once. And, the back of my head (which only tenuously connected to the rest of my haircut to begin with) doesn’t seem to be able to do anything but act as a calic the size of a porcupine. I do not like to get regular trims, so i’ll just need to deal with this haircut until it grows enough to style more efficiently.
Why don’t i like to get trims? I feel like it’s a waste. It’s a waste of money since with my hair i need a trim every month or so, and it’s a waste of time because you can never get anywhere new if you keep going shorter and shorter.
