The only thing i hate about not having cable is not having CNN. Sometimes you just need the comfort of a live face explaining what’s going on in the world.

The Gulf War was reassuring in a way: there was definitely an enemy and he would definitely lose. This is another matter entirely.

This is so disturbing. I think that weddings just disturb me because they involve so much money and are so me-focused for the Bride and Groom. As egotistical as i am, me-focused events always scare the living daylights out of me, as i would just rather occasionally steal the spotlight and then cooly return it to its owner. But, anyway, the fact that you can plan a wedding online scares the crap out of me. Sure, in terms of registering for gifts and things of that nature it’s fine, but otherwise it’s a bit creepy. Don’t you think so?

But, why waste time flirting with someone who you’ve been flirting with for over a year, who plain isn’t interested, and who you want to be friends with anyway? I’m not sure… we’ve had some moments, and i am the type to just take a moment and twist it around in my head and turn it into us getting married and moving to England. I shouldn’t have to start all over finding someone new to get to like…

I would love to go to California to see a sitcom taped. There’s recently been a slight trend away from taping in front of live audiences (Malcom in the Middle, Ally MacBeal), and i know it won’t end live tapings for good, but i’d just love to see these people act. If someone with connections can get me some tix to Friends or Will & Grace, i’ll write you a song. Better than one of Pheobe’s, even. Really…
