A comprehensive guide to every title in DC Comics’ 2016 Rebirth relaunch and how they can be read via omnibuses, hardcovers, and trade paperbacks. Part of Crushing Krisis’s Crushing Comics. Updated September 2017 with titles scheduled for release through June 2018.
DC Rebirth isn’t just a reboot – it’s a recontextualization of everything that happened in DC New 52 – all of which now “counts” or “matters” more than ever before. That thanks in part to DC Rebirth putting all of DC’s post-Crisis history back into play!
It all begins in DC Universe: Rebirth, collected in its own deluxe hardcover (since the original comic was already available as a perfect-bound book) and in the DC Rebirth Omnibus (where it appears along with all of the initial 2016 Rebirth one-shots).
Generally, any series in DC in-continuity that began after July 2016 will be included on this page, regardless of it specifically carried Rebirth branding.

Young Animal: This sub-line is not strictly in continuity with the major DC books, though they exist inside of and regularly reference the DC superhero universe. It includes Bug! The Adventures of Forager, Cave Carson Has a Cybernetic Eye, Doom Patrol, Mother Panic, and Shade, the Changing Girl
Notable Out-of-Continuity Titles: A non-exhaustive list of some of the most-discussed out-of-continuity books from this period, from Looney Tunes crossovers to Power Rangers to Warren Ellis’s The Wild Storm. For a comprehensive list (including Injustice), see The Multiverse: Elseworlds, Alternate Earths, and More!

Detective Comics starring Batman (June 2016)
Launched by writer James Tynion IV as a twice-monthly title with issue #934.
This title is effectively “The Bat-Team,” which is lead by Batman and Batwoman, and features a core cast of Spoiler, Orphan, Clayface, and Red Robin – plus, sometimes Azrael! It has been heavily focused on themes from Batwoman’s origin, as well as connecting to the Mr. Oz mystery that has also been playing out in the Superman line.
I’ve caught up on the first few collections of this and I recommend it highly if you are a fan of its featured characters!

#1-5 & Rebirth: Cyborg Vol. 1: The Imitation Of Life
#6-13: Cyborg Vol. 2: Danger in Detroit
#14-18: Cyborg Vol. 3
This was originally solicited as #12-18, but #12-13 were part of Danger in Detroit.
The Flash (June 2016)
Launched by writer Josh Williamson with Barry Allen as the star in a twice-monthly-title.
Flash appeared prominently in the initial DC Universe: Rebirth one-shot, though it had more ramifications for Wally West than for Barry..
As someone who isn’t a long-time Flash reader, I really enjoyed the first two arcs of this title – which emphasize Flash as a fallible detective rather than an all-powerful god of speed.
Note that Flash had a previous series titled “Flash: Rebirth”!
Deluxe Editions (oversize hardcovers)
#1-13 & Rebirth: The Flash: The Rebirth Deluxe Edition Book 1

Not yet solicited in regular-size format.
#23-27: The Flash Vol. 4: Running Scared
This solicit currently includes #28, but with it also included in Vol. 5 and not included in the Deluxe Book 2, I believe that’s an error.

This solicit currently includes #28.
#33: A Dark Nights: Metal tie-in. Collection information not yet announced.
Green Lanterns (June 2016)

Launched by writer Rob Venditti as a twice-monthly-title. This title focuses on Hal Jordan and other members of the Green Lantern Corps as they unravel the mystery of their disappearing compatriots and fend of Sinestro’s widening rule.
This title was briefly solicited to have its own Deluxe Editions, but the first book was subsequently delayed or cancelled.
I’ve seen just as many hard-core DC fans name this as their top Rebirth title as the obvious Batman and Superman picks, so it’s worth picking up if your a Lantern fan!
#1-7 & Rebirth: Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps Vol. 1: Sinestro’s Law
Collects Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps: Rebirth
#8-13: Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps Vol. 2: Bottled Light

Justice League (July 2016)
Launched by artist/writer Brian Hitch as a twice-monthly-title starring Aquaman, Batman, Cyborg, Flash (Barry Allen), Superman, Wonder Woman, and the Green Lanterns Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz. Hitch writes through #33.
Fans have generally been cool on Hitch’s run on the title. The general theme of the run is oversized, planet-wide threats and how the team cannot defeat them unless they work together. As fun as that sounds, the book has a staid, sometimes sombre tone.
Deluxe Editions (oversize hardcovers)
#1-11 & Rebirth: Justice League: The Rebirth Deluxe Edition Book 1
#12-25: Justice League: The Rebirth Deluxe Edition Book 2
It is unclear if this volume will contain the two Justice League vs. Suicide Squad crossover issues, since they were not originally collected alongside the series.

- Dark Nights: Metal #6
Doomsday Clock (2017)
The culminating maxi-series of the first year-and-a-half of DC’s Rebirth, this blockbuster story will examine how The Watchmen now intersect with the DC Universe! It will be set a year in the future of current titles when it begins, so that they will have all caught up with its storytelling by the final issue.
The upshot is that we probably won’t see a collection before holiday season 2018, if not early 2019!
