I’d like to add that Bush currently leads by under .7million popular votes, and that Philadelphia voted for Gore by a margin of over .3million. Which means, Philly is pretty damned responsible for both the PA win and the current popular vote totals. It just goes to show how tight this race is – if Gore could have won another large city he’d be ahead on popular vote; and i think there could be a very severe public backlash bordering on civil war if one candidate wins by popular vote and another takes the election by electoral vote.

Oh dear… All tied up at 242 with Florida again up in the air. Please, God, don’t send me to Canada…

Rather than providing political coverage for you, i refer you to riotHERO, who is speaking for me by proxy… except that Nader stuff. Just ignore that…

However, looking at the Partisan-Map of America provided by ABCnews, i’m starting to think we’ll see a Civil War within my lifetime. Elections are nearly too close to call, but when they are called there is a painful and definitely north/south split. And, frankly, i don’t think anyone in the south has anything relevant to vote about in terms of my life … of course, they probably feel the same way about me…
