Gina makes me sound like such a hack… i play guitar with this sortof robotic precision where my notes stand out against the rhythm, and i sing with this warbling fake-vibrato, and compared to her effortless solos and her clear-as-a-bell voice it sounds like i’m playing with a steel claw and vibrator stuck up my ass. Or something. You’ll see soon.
god came down and shattered the sky,… ponder that one. yes, still rerecording.
Gina rocks. She came down sans yummy cookies (saving them for tomorrow morning when we do a Trio, i suppose), but brought her guitar and lots of big voice, plus an newfound enthusiasm for Madonna covers. We just recorded three songs, and i promised Yucca a Tori Amos cover for her pledge of support, so i think i’m done recording. Imagine that… six hours into the ‘thon and i’m all done. Here i thought it’d go into hour 13 or 14…
