I’m really excited to dig into all of these Image / Image-related lists – your Patreon-bait worked!
I’ve been taking on the monstrous and ridiculous task of collecting many of these runs and spin-offs, in the hopes of developing a (impossible) coherent reading order. These are gonna help a ton.
I think Deathmate has some significance to the story of Supreme, and don’t see it listed or referenced here.
I know that story is a mess unto itself, but I think I read that it had ramifications on Supreme’s continuity
I’m so happy SOMEONE out there is digging my Image deep dive! There will be more to come. I tracked down ALL of these single issues before moving to NZ – and, let me tell you, you want to try to pick up Supreme as a lot and NOT singles!!! Weathering WildStorm is the gold standard for a WildStorm order, but he doesn’t touch the other lines.
I collected (first wave) Image titles here and there as they were coming out, strictly as “cool things to look at.” Other than Spawn, and any Alan Moore stuff, I had hardly tried to READ any of them. The pandemic happened, and I did some pandemic hoarding, along with participating in a fan-project called Image Grand Design. That led me to collecting and actually reading many of the stories for the first time, and at least the first year or two really do make an effort to reference each other’s characters, stories, and lore. I’m trying to follow all those threads as much as possible, so these lists really help.

This new guide for all Patrons of CK is for one of Image Comics’ most-acclaimed titles of the 90, and here’s the shocker: it came from the mind of Rob Liefeld! Of course, the acclaim came much later, when Alan Moore arrived to transform Liefeld’s character. Read all about it in my Guide to Supreme! […]

PS: I’m never sure about the canonicity of Deathmate, but I’ll take your word for it and look into it.
