#3 is true. In my life i have consumed under 1 gallon combined of beer and/or cola. I can tell you nearly exactly how much beer i’ve ever had… 20oz. of Old English, 16oz of Corona, 8oz at the PNE convention, and various other tiny amounts of beer that total well under an additional 20oz. That’s half a gallon. As for cola, i’m only referring to Pepsi/Coke, and not gingerale, seltzer, ect. I had a glass of coca cola once on a very hot day when it was the only thing available, and otherwise i’ve never had more than a mistaken sip through a straw once or twice a year. I’ve always hated soda, because it tastes horrible, it’s carbonated, and it has absolutely zero redeeming healthy qualities. In my mind, it should be restricted to consenting adults as much as cigarettes and beer, because as long as the government sees fit to tell people what they can and cannot do we really ought to try to make our nation’s children a little healther in the process.

When i was seven years old my grandmother offered me $20 to drink a shot glass of Pepsi and i declined. She was always doing funny things like that… in retrospect i suppose she was attempted to get me to broaden my tastes since i was a very picky eater, but everything she tried to broaden me with was unhealthy and unsavory (one halloween she somehow convinced me to have a hotdog and i think my mother stopped talking to her for a month). Except, she always tried to get me to drink apple juice with milk icecubes in it, and earlier this year i sortof unintentionally had that and it wasn’t so bad.

At one point my teeth were actually numb. Numb! How cliched is that? I was surreptisiouly tapping my fingernails against them for the latter half of the night to make sure that it wasn’t my imagination.

People are so weird when they’re drunk. Said Josh at the party: “I’m starting to realize drinking is a spectator sport.” I wholeheartedly agree… i just wish someone would tape it so i could study my performance later. Although… that might wind up being a little embarrassing…

As for the Cast Party on friday night there were only a middling amount of actual cast members there, but there was plenty of liquor and it got rather interesting rather quickly. Highlights included being told i was “the gay icon of the entire homosexual population of the Freshman class,” a rocking acoustic performance of “Like a Virgin” that didn’t even involve me, and how everyone was scratching and clawing at each other to get ahold of the one Pre-Mix demo i brought for Laurel, who left today. Lowlights included dropping a bottle of hard lemonade right on the ground instead of getting it into the pocket i was aiming for, not really having any females to flirt with in a productive fashion, and the inhuman amount of vodka i put in every single screwdriver. If you’ve got a low tolerance, don’t let me mix drinks for you, okay? The night came out alright, though i wound up sleeping far far into the afternoon yesterday after i finally dragged my ass back to the apartment. Certainly not a night i’ll be forgetting anytime soon.

Oh well, off to get smashed at (only) my fourth player’s party this year… although, in retrospect, player’s parties haven’t exactly been the best thing for me this term. Well… not the worst thing either, but god knows lots of drama always ensues. Party(1) was the second night in my weeks long unbroken string of seeing Selina, and the party where we infamously switched clothes and then disappeared back into a bathroom for an indefinite period of time (all of which was spent talking. No, really). Party(2) was the one where i had pneumonia and wasn’t allowed to drink anything, and I was chewed out by her the next day for my attending sans her despite her being much sicker than i was at the time. Party(3) was a week later: Laurel’s going away party the night we broke up. That was interesting. I think it’s the only time i ever even contemplated drinking destructively, but when i got past my fourth one i realized how aimless the whole idea was and just had one more.

It just ocurred to me that Selina might be so interested in using Laurel as a weapon against me in fights because i talk about her so much on here. I don’t think anyone really understands that (for me) blog is to life as the x-men cartoon was to the comic book: abridged, simplfied, and at times altogether rewritten. Anyhow, I couldn’t very well talk about how much time i spent in her bed (most of which was spent talking. No, really), could i?

Hmph. G’morning. She seems to be reading this now, which is amusing because we had just both agreed not to read each other’s webpages a few days ago. To be fair, she probably caught wind of it from reading Post-sBlog2 and came over to see what i was saying. She just informed me that she was not drinking virgin drinks the entire night and that she got severely drunk, which is fine by me, but i know i saved her at least two or three shots worth of misery (which could have been the difference between drunk and getting hurt). Even having slept on her last comment (scroll down two posts, silly) made by email i don’t know what to do – and of course she read that i don’t know what to do and now knows that in reality she’s in control, because i didn’t really want to break up. But… i might want to stay broken up. I don’t know.
