Amazon.com has this interesting feature where they attempt to triangulate your musical tastes based on the last few albums you’ve rated. So far i’s about 50% on the money on discs i love, and 25% in discs on my want list. The other 25% is just crap, though. Computers can only figure out so much on their own… although it’s failry sure i should buy Beth Orton’s “Central Reservation” or Aimee Mann’s “Whatever,” which is pretty freaking smart.
