When i’m as old as my mother (which isn’t too old), Friends will be on Nick at Night. And i’ll still watch it every time it comes on. In fact, by then it’ll be on those collector edition videos (well… dvds) that they sell on late night teevee! I have all the tapes of i love lucy.

So, today i lost my mind and bought the two most recent Ben Folds Five and Elliott Smith discs, and the new U2 album. And, like an idiot, i forgot the Joan Osborne album. That means i bought 5 cds, all of which were by men. Yep, hardly a woman involved, except their mothers. That’s a first.

I have this violent masculine thing going on after seeing that movie. Like… i wouldn’t even mind getting the shit beat out of me five or six times because eventually i’d just make a fist and then i wouldn’t be bleeding anymore.

Today was fun. When i only see my mother for two or three days every couple of months, those two or three days contain all of the manic energy that an entire season used to contain. Today we bought lots and lots of cds we didn’t really need, and then ate pasta that we never cooked yesterday. And then i watched fight club.
