Dude, i was just invited to post over at PimpBud.com. I dunno if this is because i asked to be invited to post other places when i quit Shafted, or because i intermittently mention getting drunk in the blog, or because he came across Uprush.org. Either way, i’m a little scared, but i’m gonna check his page out before making any disparaging remarks.

blah. The hardest fucking thing in the world is making an 88×31 button, like the ones found here. I’ll offer sexual favours to anyone who makes me a pretty button… errr… strike that. Lemme try it once or twice myself before i start selling my body in exchange for services rendered.

I’ve composed so many blogs in my head this week that have been drowned under hours of work, meetings, and practice. Blah. Illegal Op was shut down last nite by Nerv, its main moderator. I’m pretty despondent about the event, but happily i’m hosting four former I-O staff members here at Uprush.org. I’ll state again that anyone with a current site that might appeal to me is welcome to apply for hosting. Especially if your site is snazzy but doesn’t take up much space.

I’m defeated. Even after changing the write permission of the archive file and its backup to “read only,” blogger went in and overwrote them. In fact, not only did it overwrite them, it changed their write permission altogether. I’m extremely impressed with Blogger’s ability to fuck with the settings of my server…

Meanwhile, why the hell does blogger have to totally destroy your archive index page every time you change some idiot little setting? I just changed settings to allow me to have four days’ worth of posts on the main page, and my archive disappeared. Luckily, i had a backup copy of the index file, so i just uploaded it and changed its permission to “read-only.” Ahh, the power i wield now! Not even the backwards machinations of blogger can defeat me!
