Well, this’ll give you something to stew over for the night, won’t it? I’m showering and then it’s off the the fairwell party, where nearly everyone i know at Drexel will be. So… it’s a safe place – lots of people who really care about me and my welfare. I promise to check back in when i wake up in the morning with details of all the incredibly stupid things i’m bound to do tonight. … well…i already did the stupidest one already, so it can only get better from here.

Isn’t it funny how i’m going to a farewell party for Laurel tonight, because she’s leaving the country in a week or two, and so i broke up with my girlfriend. Did i just want to make sure that i really did like her more then i ever liked Laurel, just to prove that i really did like her and wasn’t just settling for her. Because… Laurel never liked me back. You can only like someone so much when they never return it..

Cast Parties are notoriously highly drunken incidents where approximately one fifth of those in attendance make an absolutely spectacle of themselves and don’t ever live it down. I always make sure to make a spectacle of myself so that i’ll always live in infamy,… at least until the next party. Last night was pretty tame, mostly because all of the Freshmen got their big first-time-drunk experience out of the way already, and everyone else was still recovering from New Year’s. As a testament to the amount of responsibility that was occurring, no one got flagged until past 3am, which isn’t such a bad time to be flagged. True to form, i made sure that i would be reminded about the party every day in the weeks to come. I’m almost afraid to go on instant messenger, because i’ll be deluged by comments from whoever’s on. Of course, they’re probably still all sleeping off their hangovers :p

But, while i’m awake i should probably tell you that i did something that was really uncharacteristic of me tonight, while remaining totally within character. While many of my friends were shocked (though not appalled), in the end their opinion of me didn’t change at all. And, as it turns out, i’m not an asshole! Isn’t that cool? So, i’m thinkin’ that maybe y’all need to guess what would be out of character for me, and what i could do to make it in character. Or, you could wait until i wake up and then i might tell you. Yeah… sure… have fun with that wait of yours. Otherwise, guess your best guess!

Um…, yeah. It’s 5am now, so really it’s still yesterday, which i never quite finished talking about. But i’m not really ready to finish talking about it, or to talk about anything else. The Cast Party was as all Cast Parties are. Theatre rocks. I’m gonna sleep now… this is sorta just a reminder of where i was mentally so tomorrow i can pick up the narrative. I’ll tell some fun bits, i promise…
