Ugh, except tomorrow i can’t come home after work because i have to truck down to South Philly to cast my vote for President. But, there’s no need to talk about that. And i’ve got to rewrite my resume for tomorrow morning. ugh. No blogs tomorrow, that’s for sure.

And so i enter the infinite loop: nothing to do, check the internet, read blogs, get distracted, remember i have work to do too late, put it off, wake up too early to do work, tired all day, sleep early, wake up without work done… ect…ect

The theory about interiour monologues is that they don’t really belong to you. Your inner voice has developed from years of familiar and societal affectation, and you can’t stop it anymore than you can stop breathing air. Of course, the voice will be very similar to you (whatever “you” is/are), but you have no control over it. It is an independent wandering stream of thought that just happened to sit through every boring class and hot date that you’ve ever attended.
