Wow… that’s a week i won’t soon forget. New romantic interests, bitter ex-girlfriends, new Ani DiFranco albums, stress at work, and slowly but surely becoming famous.

Of course, with me being the most un-subtle person in the world, i tend to take everything everyone else says to me rather literally. Except when i want them to be saying something to me … then i’m willing to twist words every which way in my head until i find the result i was looking for. This is why i should never be allowed to talk to other people. Just blog. Wouldn’t that fix everything?

Um, just to clear up any confusion caused earlier this week, while i didn’t write “Heartbreak Even,” i am feeling it. And, everyone should have someone feel that towards them if they never have the chance to have it written… and i don’t write quite that well.

This week was like a reward for good karma. I mean… not that i’m the nicest person on earth, but we’ve sorta established that i tend to let myself get walked all over until the very last second where i totally flip out, and that’s not too often. But… this week just felt like someone saying thank you to me for who i am – i don’t think i spent a single unhappy moment. Sure, a few of them were nervous moments, but nervous is an emotion that can go either way.

Well, to be fair to my mother, i never liked the live version of “Heartbreak Even,” and now it’s eclipsed my entire musical collection, so… there’s something to be said for studio production.
