I would love to go to California to see a sitcom taped. There’s recently been a slight trend away from taping in front of live audiences (Malcom in the Middle, Ally MacBeal), and i know it won’t end live tapings for good, but i’d just love to see these people act. I even sound like Pheobe a little when i talk, but my logic circuits tend to function in a slightly more linear fashion. And i’m sitting here blogging about the #1 comedy on teevee, which i’m sure everyone else is watching right now anyhow. Oh god, make the awful Taco Bell commericals end…

wow… i turn on friends for the first time in a year or two to find Chandler and Monica engaged, Joey being an idiot, and Rachel and Ross making out. (Almost) All masochism aside, I should be whipped and flogged for every day that i went by not buying Aimee Mann albums. I know now to put blind faith in everything Furia tells me. May Aimee deliver us all from boring and illiterate music. The great thing about most of her songs is that they’re so incredibly simple; not one of them has been a challenge for me to learn to play on guitar or bass. Their simplicity is so very complete that they become marvellous capsules of perfect genius, with no over-important production or performance to discredit. My four-tiered pyramid of musical preference is getting a bit rearranged tonight. More, later.

Mighty Big T(ee)V(ee) is even better than actually watching the boob tube. Really! Since i am allotting myself only 1 hour of teevee a week this year, that site is very important in my keeping up with the guiltier pleasures like Buffy. Yep, doesn’t get much more guilty than that.
