Silly me, i was still reloading the sorry screen at blogger hours after Ev finished the update to the system, mostly because i’m an inattentive silly head. That can be generalized as the main problem here, for sure.
I had just written a huge post about how i hate to use public restrooms, but it was actually quite weird and i had no idea that the Escape button wiped out the blogger posting box. Wow… blogger is really riddled with ways to lose a post, isn’t it? God knows i seem to have found most of them…
Well, this is lovely. My server is functional again, and so now Blogger has decided to stop working. God forbid i should have a whole day of uninterrupted service…
If you’re at all up on the politics of Pyra & Blogger you should definitely go read the very witty interview Evan Williams (the only person currently behind Blogger) just did with a self-proclaimed genius named Biz Stone. It provides an easy history of Blogger, why it’s not quite viable, and what might happen to it in the future. Also, there are some robots and giant brains suspended in large tanks of preserving fluid. Plus, a genius!
