Is this a bit too boring to look at? I was getting a bit sick of that background… it was blending into everything else on my desk so that i couldn’t even focus on the page. But, i probably read it a lot more than you do :p

Silly me, i was still reloading the sorry screen at blogger hours after Ev finished the update to the system, mostly because i’m an inattentive silly head. That can be generalized as the main problem here, for sure.
I had just written a huge post about how i hate to use public restrooms, but it was actually quite weird and i had no idea that the Escape button wiped out the blogger posting box. Wow… blogger is really riddled with ways to lose a post, isn’t it? God knows i seem to have found most of them…
Damn, that post took about as long to get right as “Under My Skin” did today. Obviously my brain is fried… or perhaps we tripped my “perfectionist” switch at some point today. If that’s the case, someone really ought to turn it off. (postscript: Of course, in classic fashion, none of the changes i made to the post are there anymore, and i’m not making them all over again. So much for that perfectionist theory…)
My connection has a knack for dying just as i hit the post button, and i have a knack for posting things i can’t ever really reconstruct. Isn’t life funny that way?
