The morning is lovely. Maybe it’s not, but i have all of my windows closed and am swaddled in comfy pajamas, so all i really need to see is sunlight streaming through my window to be convinced. I don’t think i’m going outside today; i spent enough money this weekend to carry me through two or three lonely days in the apartment. Instead, i’ll just sit here and stare at that endless perfect blue that frames all the beaten old buildings across the street from me. Contrast.

Well, this one’s off to dreamland, and I don’t think i have a damn thing to do tomorrow, because i was expecting to be hung over or something. If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to suggest. Otherwise, i think i’m headed into the studio to record. Of course, that might have been your suggestion, but in the absence of class and work, music is my #1 priority so i tend to shy away from it. We’ll see…

Everything here is in it’s right place; it’s as though my apartment has resolved back to where it began, only with the memory of all its accumulated along the way. I’m not a sucker for completeness, but i like when things come together, and i like feeling okay. And right now i can see more hardwood floor than i’ve been able to see in months, and i feel okay. This past week i’ve felt like life has started to come together, and spending today with the people i came here with just added to the good cheer. Maybe once i really find a life of my own, i’d be ready to let someone else into it. I hope so…

I’m starting to feel like a real person. I have friends, i go places, i spend money … all things real people do. I had this spectacular conviction a few months ago that i was completely two-dimensional, and no one could convince me otherwise until Selina. Selina turned me into a real person who honestly believes in their life, and now everything i do has an extra dimension where before it was just flat. And, people are actually responding to me – because i believe i’m worth responding to now.
