Ditched that outfit totally. Now i look rugged…. err… as rugged as i get. I have some real image issues, don’t i? I just don’t think it’s fair that a guy either has to wear jeans and a t-shirt, or khakis and a button down. I like originality, damnit!

I am trying to dress somewhere comfortable in between “dead sexy” and “fashionable” without ever verging to close to “flamingly sexy fashion sense.” So far i’m in a tight long-sleeved t-shirt, shiny jeans (they’re men’s jeans, okay, so shut up!), and my clunky dress shoes. The party’s only a block away, so i can always go and scout out the fashion and then come back to change, but that’s just scary. One things for sure, my blood-red tinted hair makes me look shag-a-delic. Yeah, baby!

*riotHERO breaks out a can of scientific calculator whup-ass on blocked sites. I don’t currently have a really good use for this information, but someone’s got to. Basically, he explains how to get around an url-filter even if it’s blocking the IP of the site. Reall cool.

So, err, if anyone other than Spoon was hoping to be hosted by me, now would be the time to ask… i’m not sure how i feel about the whole hostee situation, but since i have the ability to do so i’d at least like to open the invitation for sites to apply. No promises as of right now, but any site that deserves some decent space is game (and to see what i consider deserving, surf through my sidebar and also my exits). So far i know that, unless i have restrictions on the amount of FTP accounts i can create, i am willing to host a few people as subdomains (http://you.uprush.org) with 25megs of space for under $4 a month. Talk to me.

It’s so weird to be the ultimate administrator at a site… i have everything from control over my 404 error page to my own anonymous FTP directory (hehehe… can you say Ani DiFranco concerts in MP3? Cause, i can…). I keep expecting to be denied access to something, or to need to create a password… but i’m in charge of all that. Weird…
