Sleep beckons, and i’ve got to write a paper and do a trio tomorrow, and i’m not sure which will be harder. Both will probably kick my ass. But, sleep beckons. Good night, all.

Elliott Smith’s XO is now officially my rainy/lonely night soundtrack, especially “Waltz #2” (which comes before “Waltz #1,” for unknown and obscure singer-songwriter reasons). I hope i hear alot more of it, for whichever reason.

And, might i add, that the writer at Wockerjabby possesses a great amount of beauty and goes to the same local college as a few friends of mine. And she has the same blood-type, age in years, and vision. Be still, oh lonely heart

Me too!!! I think the internet has sapped my attention span worse than any other major appliance or entertainment system has managed to, because i truly control the speed and refreshment of the content. Just thought i’d say so.

I totally didn’t realize that the new Marilyn Manson disc had been released until i saw it sitting next to some Aimee Mann albums while at Best Buy yesterday. Poor Marilyn has always outdid his inventive musical range with his less than engaging stylistics, and it seems to have finally taken its ultimate toll on his career. I actually bought his last cd, Mechanical Animals, and it was a very nice David Bowie album. After all, Manson really is just a Bowie for our decade, only lacking the true chameleon abilities both visually and stylistically that Bowie possessed. Or maybe i’m making an unfair comparison. The point is, the poor boy didn’t even manage to drum up enough hype inbetween releases by U2 and Limp Bizkit. And that’s just sad.
