I am trying to dress somewhere comfortable in between “dead sexy” and “fashionable” without ever verging to close to “flamingly sexy fashion sense.” So far i’m in a tight long-sleeved t-shirt, shiny jeans (they’re men’s jeans, okay, so shut up!), and my clunky dress shoes. The party’s only a block away, so i can always go and scout out the fashion and then come back to change, but that’s just scary. One things for sure, my blood-red tinted hair makes me look shag-a-delic. Yeah, baby!

This is so disturbing. I think that weddings just disturb me because they involve so much money and are so me-focused for the Bride and Groom. As egotistical as i am, me-focused events always scare the living daylights out of me, as i would just rather occasionally steal the spotlight and then cooly return it to its owner. But, anyway, the fact that you can plan a wedding online scares the crap out of me. Sure, in terms of registering for gifts and things of that nature it’s fine, but otherwise it’s a bit creepy. Don’t you think so?

Babe, don’t tell me these things. Maybe i should just stop looking back at highschool saying that i wasted it and start picking up the things i missed, but there’s only so much time after you subtract school and theatre and music and work and webpage. Getting older is hard, no matter what age you’re moving on from. At least you seem to have a story for every month that passed.

Writing songs is getting a bit iffy… i either jump into an alternate tuning and use typical bass notes, or just wing it into a typical C-G-D, Em-C, or D-A-Bm-G progression in some other key. I can’t even remember how to write a good song… i suppose it just comes to you…
