Rather than blog for the rest of the week i’m inclined to simply offer you ventures directly into my brain for a quarter of an hour at a time, a la being jon malkovitch. There’s nothing amusing to say about what i’m living, but i think that’s only because the comedy of it is so inherent. Also, during your tour of my cranium you’re welcome to leave behind any introductory knowledge of Philosophy that you can spare.

A boy can hope, can’t he?

One of my readers just compared his unlikely interest in consuming all the meager details of my life with his morbid fascination with the OJ Simpson trial.

I think that speaks for itself.

My life is just like a national election… every little thing counts for a certain amount of electoral votes that will make sure i live to see another year. The big swing states are my classes – and as we come down to the wire i’m finding some of them harder to call than i intended them to be. The first lock-in was my Guitar class, which is definitely an A. Today i managed to secure a B in my German History class (the one i was continually procrastinating against a week or two ago) and an A in C++. This leaves my three music classes, and the all-important Philosophy. Phil is the Florida of my election, because it’s a college requirement and there’s a slight chance that i could wind up with a C in the course. For me, it’s A, B, or Fail, because i need to maintain a 3.0 or higher to keep all of my groovy scholarships. This week will be totally dedicated to not failing Philosophy. Otherwise, more results as i can call them.

Everything on the internet that i habitually read looks like utter silliness on a Mac. Making matters worse, it’s a Mac with Netscape… the Fonts alone are making my insides itch.

I love sleeping on the floor; it allows me to feel so grounded and stable. Once i get to sleep i sleep better on a hardwood floor than anywhere else. Of course, it seems to also be condusive to missing one’s first class… which is never a good thing during the last week of classes.
