What is the Tigereyes Most Wanted DC Omnibus 2nd Annual Poll?

The Tigereyes Most Wanted DC Omnibus 1st Annual Poll is a chance for comic fans across the internet to vote on their most-dsired omnibuses from DC Comics that don’t yet exist.

An “omnibus” is a premium format oversize hardcover volume that typically collects 15 to 60 issues of a single character, team, title, creator, or major storyline. The team behind the poll has researched DC’s history from the 1930s to the present day to list over 600 potential titles that account for the vast majority of DC comics that have never been comprehensively collected in omnibus format.

Tigereyes has organized a similar poll for the past 13 years for Marvel Comics, which has yielded thousands of votes and hundreds of omnibus titles. In 2024, Tigereyes finally extended the poll to cover DC Comics.

Omar, the host of Near Mint Condition, shared the results with the DC Collections Department. Later, DC announced 13 omnibuses from the Top 60 as part of their 2025 slate of omnibus titles. Causation or Correlation? Perhaps a little bit of both!

Tigereyes is a comics fan who first dreamt up the idea of conducting an omnibus poll for Marvel on comic book forums back in 2013.

Omar @ Near Mint Condition is the founder and host of the home of collected editions on YouTube, with over 100k subscribers! He cultivates a positive, inclusive community of comics commentators and fans.

We know 600+ titles are a lot of options to browse, especially in the dropdowns on the poll! Even if you already know exactly what your Top 10 uncollected runs are, you might not be sure of their exact title on the poll.

To help you prepare for your vote, all of the titles from the poll are listed below on his page. You can review lists grouped by character, team, or comic line for in-depth explanations of every volume.

If you don’t see a title you want to vote for, leave a comment on the announcement stream. Krisis, Omar, & the rest of the team will try to help you find what you were looking for – or, we’ll add it to the list for 2026 if it wasn’t covered by our research this year.

One important note: Whenever you see that the poll includes multiple consecutive volumes for a comic run, we did that because a creator change, a story cadence that creates a natural breaking point between books that would have unique demand and could be released independent of each other.

If there was no natural break point, we simply said “(YEAR & on)” in the title to indicate the line would continue. That prevents voters from splintering votes across multiple titles rather than focusing them all on one book that would continue a line.

Example: The poll includes many different omnibuses from Wonder Woman (1987) and Wonder Woman (2016) because creators-runs were almost always omnibus-sized with clear beginnings and endings.

Example: For Superman Triangle era, we only have highlight the next sequential omnibus at the start of the era as well as two distinct stories that happen at the end of the era.

Example: The same is true for Post-Crisis Batman, which is simply listed as “Batman: The Post-Crisis Omnibus Vol. 1” without any additional story-based volumes listed until after Knightfall. We know there are in-demand creator runs in there, but they all cut across the material in awkward ways and will splinter votes across books with similar contents.
