What is the Tigereyes Most Wanted DC Omnibus 3rd Annual Poll?

The Tigereyes Most Wanted DC Omnibus 3rd Annual Poll is a chance for comic fans across the internet to vote on their most-desired omnibus volumes from DC Comics that don’t yet exist.

An “omnibus” is a premium format oversize hardcover volume that typically collects 15 to 60 issues of a single character, team, title, creator, or major storyline. The trim size of a DC Omnibus is about 7.25? wide by 10.875? tall – larger than the dimensions of a comic book or a standard trade paperback.

The team behind the poll has researched DC’s history from the 1930s to the present day to list over 600 potential titles that account for the vast majority of DC Comics that have never been comprehensively collected in omnibus format – including imprints and licenses.

Internet man of mystery Tigereyes first launched the Marvel version of this poll 14 years ago as a write-in ballot for a few dozen forum users. Now, it is two polls – one for Marvel and one for DC – hosted by the Near Mint Condition YouTube channel and Crushing Krisis, with voting open to everyone on the internet!

For the 1st Annual Poll, Omar – the host of Near Mint Condition – shared the top results with the DC Collections Department as a courtesy. In 2025, the DC Collections Department actually participated in the comments of the results stream and asked for us to share the full unabridged results.

While DC has announces only about 15% of the Top 60 from the poll in 2025 and 2026, they have confirmed it is influencing their internal conversations about what to prioritize for the future.

And, even if it didn’t – it’s fun to vote!

Who is organizing the Tigereyes Most Wanted DC Omnibus 3rd Annual Poll?

Tigereyes is a comics fan who first dreamt up the idea of conducting an omnibus poll for Marvel on comic book forums back in 2013.

Omar @ Near Mint Condition has built the home of collected editions on YouTube over the past decade. Omar has forged connections with many major publishers so he can share exclusive news and creator interviews. He cultivates a positive, inclusive community of comics commentators and fans.

Krisis @ Crushing Krisis.com & CrushingKrisis on YouTube is a comics fan whose mission is to explain how to collect, read, and enjoy every Marvel and DC comic book – plus many indies, too – in a series of definitive collecting guides and reading orders! They also appear on YouTube when not lock inside the poll dungeon preparing projects like this one.

Voting Options on the Tigereyes Most Wanted DC Omnibus 3rd Annual Poll

Trying to narrow down your favorite 10 omnibus from a list of 600+ titles is incredibly difficult! Even if you already have a good idea of your Top 10 most-wanted runs, figuring out where they are in the poll dropdown can be extremely challenging – especially on a smaller screen. Plus, you might have a run that you aren’t sure how we might title on the poll.

To help you prepare for your vote, all of the titles from the poll are listed below on his page. You can expand and scroll through the alphabetical list of titles exactly as it appears on the poll (or, once you expand the titles, simply CTRL-F down the list to find your favorites).

As I create posts for each line of books and their mapping leading up to the launch of the poll, you can also review the titles paired with in-depth explanations of every volume.

If you don’t see a title you want to vote for, leave a comment here or on the announcement stream. Krisis, Omar, & the rest of the team will try to help you find what you were looking for – or, we’ll add it to the list for 2027 if it wasn’t covered by our research this year.

If there was no natural breaking point for a book or run, we simply said “(YEAR & on)” in the title to indicate the line would continue. That prevents voters from splintering votes across multiple ambiguously-mapped titles rather than focusing them all on one book that would continue a line.

Example: The poll includes many different omnibuses from Wonder Woman (1987) and Wonder Woman (2016) because creators-runs were almost always omnibus-sized with clear beginnings and endings.

Example: For the next book Superman Triangle era, we only have highlight the next sequential omnibus, since the exact mapping of further volumes would be ambiguous.

Example: The same is true for Post-Crisis Batman, which is simply listed as “Batman: The Post-Crisis Omnibus Vol. 1” without any additional story-based volumes listed until after Knightfall. We know there are in-demand creator runs in there, but they all cut across the material in awkward ways and will splinter votes across books with similar contents.
