I just got home from the coffee shop and started to wash my hands when the drippy pipe (yes, still from when the sink fell) finally just got too much on my nerves. I grabbed a tube of caulk (don’t ask where i found it, i dunno), ripped it open with my teeth, and slathered the entire pipe a centimeter thick with caulk using my bare hands. If it still drips after that, i’ll just put a fucking bucket under it.

I am way too non-resistant to change. For example, just now i washed my hands over the bathtub and then brushed my teeth there without even the slightest hesitation. Was i upset that i couldn’t do this over the sink? Nope, not at all. I have a sad sad habit of just working around such small inconveniences, pretending that they don’t matter at all. Of course, in the end i’m just living in a world of crap and looking like an idiot. The best example of this is the D-string tuner on my guitar, which has been broken for well over a year. I had just replaced all the tuners on my guitar when it broke, so i wasn’t in the mood to tear my instrument apart to fix it. Fast forward a year and a half, and now i have to bring a pliers with me to guitar ensemble so that i can tune the D-string of my guitar. It’s pathetic. I think mother and i have agreed that i’m getting a nice acoustic guitar for christmas so that i don’t look like such an idiot. As if that’s gonna help…

Well, i was just almost implicated in a minor felony after the fact, but that’s what i get for not leaving the apartment until past midnite. As a rule of thumb, you should never leave after or get back before midnite. Totally. Anyhow, i’m supposed to be in the studio in under 12 hours (not that i’m expected to perform with any semblance of quality) to work on my project, so i should probably go to bed. And try to remember not to brush my teeth tomorrow unless it’s in the shower or in the kitchen. Oh boy, shaping up to be a great weekend…

Don’t ask me how it happened, because i don’t know. One minute i was sorta leaning on my sink, and the next we were both in a heap on the floor. I managed to mount the sink on the wall again, but the pipe below it refuses to quite line up. And i forget which apartment the handi-man lives in. Crap. Well, i only need that sink for hand-washing and tooth-brushing, both of which could easily be moved to the kitchen. What a life…
