Some addendums to that post: 1) I typed “rabi” instead of “wockerjabby.com” into the hyperlink at first without noticing. 2) The entire coffee thing is moot because the mug is too hot for me to even approach. I can’t even sneak up on it. 3) You’ll note that i missed linking to Martha despite linking to the other two kiddies in my circle of awakeness, but that’s because i knew she was posting this really funny summary of me and my blog on her page shortly. I am still laughing. Still. Martha is definitely a daily read now; that’s what you get :p

Gina just came downstairs to make sure i was still alive and brought me coffee. Somehow, someway, i have stayed caffeine free up to this point except for trace amounts found in my Nestea. Now, Gina claims that the coffee is something cheap and powdery and won’t count as cheating, but i’m very impressed with my ability to stay up a full 24-hours (which it has been for me at this point), so i don’t want to start using crutches now, you know? But, anyhow, it’s in this lovely tall green mug. I have a mug fetish… anything vaguely mug-shaped melts money right out of my wallet … sometimes bowls with handles even qualify. That reminds me, i’m supposed to buy a Blogger mug because Ev fixed the terrifying archive problem that Tom and i had been having. But, anyhow, we both worked in a coffee shop for well over a year and she tells me that it’s not even as caffeinated as half a shot of espresso. However, i desperately don’t want to cheat. However, she was nice enough to get up at 10:30am on a Sunday to make me coffee and listen to my frantic raving about Jerwin trying to seduce me out of my pants and how Rabi’s collages are getting more and more like surreal windows into some other place than cut up magazines. So, i’m thinking i should just drink the coffee. I dunno. Maybe we need a view poll or something.

We pasted stars on the ceiling and planets where we want so we could feel finally in control. We painted a rocketship straight for the sun; the people inside seemed calm. I don’t think that they knew what was going on. I dreamed i saw the end of the world – it wasn’t as bad as i thought it’d be. As everyone shook and layed down their swords, finally, everyone was free. It seems the closer we get to the end the more our enemies look like friends, and sometimes i look too forward to that and forget where i’m at. Yeah, i’m talking about the real end, when the world’s aflame and there’s no one left to blame. I am looking forward to the real end when you’ll lay it down, lay down.

    religion, by gina

a god came and shattered the sky

a god came and split the ground i’m sitting on

a god came and broke the tree

    but, i don’t think that i believe

    no, i don’t think i believe

yes, they say that jesus is gonna save me

    but, i can’t say i agree.
