As for flirting… i’ve come to realize that the girl i’m interested is the type that can and will flirt with anyone, but could never commit herself to one boy because she’d lose the attention of all the others. And, while she does flirt a bit more outrageously with me, ultimately it’s probably because she feels less imminently threatened by my returned sexual advances. Oh well. Apparently she told me i had nice hair at Orientation.

Parties are odd for me. I cannot stay in one place or with one person; i migrate. This just contributes to the sense i have that i don’t have many very good friends who know me very well. I just can’t imagine how i would manage to sit down and pay attention to a single person for a whole night; what if there were to be someone more interesting in the next room? That’s my problem, of course, i’m always floating looking for the more interesting person, and by not making a choice i alienate myself from everyone. But, is there anyone worth sticking to? We’ll see…

Yeah, so, today was the huge tech-day for the mainstage play, and i attended despite having told off various members of my theatre community over the course of the week that i wasn’t even vaguely interested in theatre. Yep, i love the scent of bridges burning. Anyhow, i got there a bit late and the first person who commented about it was told to “kiss my ass,” which pretty much set the tone for the day. However it was fun, and i got to hang out with tons of people who i haven’t seen at all recently since i’ve been totally out of the loop. And, yes, i got to flirt a bunch. I’m getting better at it. And, the “boy-friend” is totally non-existent. Never even occurred. And we painted each other a bunch…
