Unattended business: Lane just gave me another reason to dislike high profile gun-supporting Republicans. It’s not just people that guns kill, you know. Meanwhile, i figure i owe another link to Dane, since i’ve been as-of-yet too lazy to add him to my favourites list. Sooner or later, Dane. Also, Tom added me as a fixture on his sidebar, and in return i used his photo for Uprush’s Netscape-hating Splash page. Tom, you paid me a bigger complement than you might think. While we’re in the complement department, Martha became a sponsor of 25/24, which i still need to record a dozen and a half songs for. Gee, 10 days left… no pressure or anything.

PuppetMaster has lately involved a lot of hitting on Ashley by both Bertie and i … Bertie, you were already Selina’s favourite sBlogger, so we know that when it comes to Ernie‘s webgames the girls like you better than they like me. Thus, i think competing with you for a possibly make-believe barely-legal vegetarian from Vancouver is hardly a fair fight. Also, i got a referral from here, but i don’t know how and i don’t advise you to click through; i can hardly even being to speculate how i got entangled with the Denmark anal lolita scene. I feel all dirty just talking about it.

Finally, now that my beloved and sarcastic co-communication fiend Amy has promised to blog with some regularity, i’m contemplating getting a Philly webloggers ring together – not just bloggers, but webloggers. Phloggers? Dunno… if you’re from the Philly area or go to school here drop me a note about your interest. Just think!, we could have a bi-monthly pub-crawl just like meg, tom, and the rest of the UK crew. And, i’m personally hoping to have CKfieldtrip ’02 be to South by Southwest – which reminds me: field-trip #1 is this Sunday. More excitement about that when i allow myself to contemplate it being only five short days away; if i start thinking about it now all you’ll hear out of me for the remainder of the week is incoherent babbling and squeaks of boundless joy.


Not that that’s entirely different from the current content, i suppose.

I was totally frantic and unfocused yesterday because i was running on 2 hours of sleep and a bag of corn chips that i ate early Sunday morning. Everything in my life keeps falling apart. First of all, i’m falling apart … i went back to the dentist yesterday to try to get my filling situation fixed and he only made it worse. Naive to the ungodly amounts of pain i was about to return myself to i absently-mindedly popped a piece of Trident into my mouth at Tower Records and wound up having to hide in the easy-chair in the periodicals section because i was in too much pain to coherently browse through the records. And, anyhow, i would never pay more than $16 for an album.


Everything is falling apart pieces at a time… Matt took a turn at locking himself out of the apartment today, so i loaned him my keys… except for i couldn’t remember where i put the spares after i got locked out last tuesday, so he had to keep my keys for the entire day. The apartment is a warzone … my physical possessions seem to multiply while i’m away to make more bric-a-brac crap for me to throw on the floor when i get back. Packing for my new apartment at the end of August should be entertaining… out of mine and into the (currently unconfirmed) new place in 12hours flat. Righhht.

I know this is banal, but i have things coming at me from too many directions right now to be able to do anything more than just report on them. And the counselor meeting just let out. Away i go!

I think the mouse is back… oh dear… and i don’t even have a girlfriend who i can sleep over with. Speaking of which, i saw Selina today and we were very civil to each other. She was wearing the same gold sweatery thing she always wears when i see her, but that’s okay, cause i’m always wearing the same shirt on my webcam. She’s dating the other ambiguously straight chapter rep from my fraternity now, and i don’t know what i find more ironic: that she’s dated us both, or that we’re both ambiguously straight. But, anyhow, i just wanted to update you on the distinct lack of angst in my life (and the possible return of something rodent-y). Can you tell that i’m almost done being a teenager?

So, i was just trouncing around a tiny corner of the cam world via recommendations from Bertie and her satanic cam portal, and i realize that in the great scheme of things i’m a very small whore. Tiny, even. Because, while i occasionally appear on my cam while half-nude or fellating ripe produce, i am not a cam whore. There are people out there with websites devoted to their being cam whores, did you know that? No? Did you ever see sCam? Somehow i was under the impression that random bloggers with webcams applied to be in the game, but really they were a bunch of prissy famous lil’ whores. No joke. Am i severely tempted to apply for sCam2 knowing that i’ll have dsl and lots of free time? Slightly… but i think the whores would blow me out of the water. (wow… i wanted to link to some whores in there but i suspect they would take it the wrong way. it was hard to resist, though).

But, anyway, the whole point of this post was to link to Lane @ trianide because she doesn’t seem to be a cam whore, and i am delightfully obsessed with her starry design.

In the cruel cruel world of PuppetMaster, we just lost my favourite of all the possibly masters… Nancy! I’ve been reading Nancy’s page on and off for a month so i knew she was real (even when i proposed that she was obviously the puppet in my first colorful comment), and though i am utterly miserable that she got the boot i now get to link to her incredibly intelligent log on a regular basis. I love you, Nancy!
