I’m starting to feel like a real person. I have friends, i go places, i spend money … all things real people do. I had this spectacular conviction a few months ago that i was completely two-dimensional, and no one could convince me otherwise until Selina. Selina turned me into a real person who honestly believes in their life, and now everything i do has an extra dimension where before it was just flat. And, people are actually responding to me – because i believe i’m worth responding to now.

So, first you take a bunch of high school friends and put them in an apartment four three hours with 7 electrical musical instruments, and then you take most of those same high school friends and give them a largish bottle of vodka, several gallons of orange juice, and their favourite Simpsons episode of this season (around which they construct a drinking game). Then, take the only two that are vaguely drunk, put them in a car with the totally sober one, and send them deep deep into the suburbs to go bowling. Yes, bowling. And, that, my dear reader, is how to have a fun Sunday during spring break..

AMkitchen is getting a months overdue update, but if you’re a regular reader here i don’t think any of it will be new to you. AMkitchen used to be the main component of my website, and now this has taken over and left the kitchen as a neatly designed archive for all the witty new songs that pop up over here. I suspect after i begin work in earnest on my new demo (in less than 12 hours, honestly!), things will perk up over there. We shall see…

Want to hear some interesting facts about the last 30 weeks of Crushing Krisis? There have been 1446 posts, which amounts to nearly a quarter of a million words. I average 7 posts a day and 48.2 a week. The week with the most posts was October 8th with a whopping 138. Not coincidentally, October was the month with the most posts. I was sorta curious about that sort of thing, so Benjy from LinkStew whipped up a little unix thingamajig to calculate it all for me. He claims it was easy. Thanx, Benjy!
