Personal

There was this one girl sitting next to me for the first act who had to keep leaning over to talk to Elise, who was on the other side of me and removed by one person. Apparently, to get to the right angle to make comments to her, she needed to stretch out past me so that her breasts were wedged up against the hands i had folded politely in my lap. The first time she did this i was rather embarrassed but couldn’t move my hands without essentially feeling her up along the way. On subsequent leanings over i attempted to shift my hands, but every time they were assaulted by cleavage. This was all very upsetting because i had no intention on hitting on any random Penn students, and i couldn’t very well just sit there and have breasts imposed upon me without flirting with their owner a bit. Wow, i think i’m a chauvinist now. Anyhow, we all switched seats at the end of the first act, which left me next to the person i had been planning on flirting with in one of those situations where i couldn’t decide whether or not to put my arm around her. Yes, i suck. No, you don’t have to remind me again.

Regardless of your adoration of incorrect grammar, let me quickly finish off the story. The theatre we were attending oversold tickets by nearly 200%, which means the place was totally mobbed. I’d like to add at this point that Penn students are incredibly unnattractive, in general. As i looked around in the mob, i couldn’t find a single girl who i’d swoon for (or a single guy that’d cause me to question my sexuality :). Luckily, once inside the theatre i did wind up with Ariel’s friend Elise in what had to be the most attractive row of Penn students in the entire place. And the gods rejoiced!

So, last night on the way home from the recording studio i randomly ran into Ariel as he was walking to his campus from the train station. Ariel is a great friend of mine who just happens to go to the snooty ivy-leauge university that’s situated across the street from here. I began walking with him, and he reminded me that i had promised to see a show he designed the set for, and that it was closing night. I immediately felt pretty shitty about this, because Ariel comes to see every show i’m involved with at Drexel, but I didn’t give him a firm answer about it until he reminded me that a certain female friend of his might be attending, and that i could hang out with her after the show while he took down the set. Don’t you love run-on sentences?

I’m always very intrigued by all sorts of interesting webrings like Domain-ated and Need, but when i look at them i realize that i’m not entirely too interested in lumping myself in with such a group of people. Also, i refuse to use WebRing.org sing Yahoo bought it, which is the same reason i left Geocities around this time last year. I was hoping that Yahoo would be able to seamlessly integrate each site that it absorbed, but as it is it just gets harder and harder to reconcile your well thought out user names and passwords as Yahoo adds site after site to their network. And, frankly, they don’t offer a single service that i can’t find a better version of elsewhere. So there!
