However, looking at the Partisan-Map of America provided by ABCnews, i’m starting to think we’ll see a Civil War within my lifetime. Elections are nearly too close to call, but when they are called there is a painful and definitely north/south split. And, frankly, i don’t think anyone in the south has anything relevant to vote about in terms of my life … of course, they probably feel the same way about me…
I went and voted, and Gore won my city (Philadelphia) 80% by 20% and my state. It looks to be close, but Gore locked down key states of Florida, Michigan, and Pennsylvania within the same twenty minutes spent at home after voting. The fact that Gore is actually getting these key states is reaffirming my faith in human intelligence…
