Alexandra comes into the story again a bit later, when the girl in search of a dime as well as a female friend i brought to the party both went to their wallets to retrieve the ten cents they’d have to drop for me to get nekkid. As it turned out, neither of them had a dime, and neither did anyone who had just come back from getting scads and scads of cheese fries from the pizza place down the block. So, who came to their rescue? Well, i did… but the person that produced a dime was none other than Alexandra, though i’m sure she had no idea what dastardly purpose it was meant for (or where it’d wind up). I handed the dime over to the girls, told them to be careful not to drop it, and then we all headed back to the heart of the party.

The most beautiful freshmen girl on the campus was standing next to me at the bar. I first saw her from across the room at new student orientation this summer. Then she was around again at DragonWeek, where she almost joined one of my student-groups by mistake. But, she was standing next to me at the bar. As it turns out, she’s dating one of the leads in the play (another freshman), but i still needed to find out what her name was. So (after having something to drink) i passed by her and stopped to tell her that i found her mesmerizing and that her boyfriend was perhaps the luckiest man in the room. At that point i learned her name, Alexandra. Fittingly beautiful. Afterwards i think the two of them went upstairs to neck.

I know now to be careful about who i open my mouth to, because it might get me into trouble later (wow, wasn’t that a double entendre…). For example, i had mentioned to a certain someone that i have been known to “Strip at the drop of a dime,” and so she shouldn’t push her luck and drop one. She intended to show up to the cast party with a dime in her possession, but apparently it somehow found its way out of her pants pocket (don’t look at me). So, we were stuck, fully clothed and without a dime (not that i ever really need a reason to get nude in front of large groups of people).
