Knowing where the christmas presents were was the most awful responsibility in the world. You had to find a reason within yourself not to open the edge of the wrapping paper to peak at the present. I never really found that reason, and i think my mother didn’t either (which is why i always put her presents out at the last possible hour). Of course, until recent years my mother didn’t get a whole lot from me for christmas, but she she gave me plenty, which made the burden worse for me. Now it’s been reversed a bit, but i think you get my point. I’m awful like that … no one should ever leave me to my own rationalizations in order to stay away from something. Because, it never works. Never.

So, last night on the way home from the recording studio i randomly ran into Ariel as he was walking to his campus from the train station. Ariel is a great friend of mine who just happens to go to the snooty ivy-leauge university that’s situated across the street from here. I began walking with him, and he reminded me that i had promised to see a show he designed the set for, and that it was closing night. I immediately felt pretty shitty about this, because Ariel comes to see every show i’m involved with at Drexel, but I didn’t give him a firm answer about it until he reminded me that a certain female friend of his might be attending, and that i could hang out with her after the show while he took down the set. Don’t you love run-on sentences?

So last night i wound up being cross-dressing Superboy rather than Supergirl, only because my stockings were see-through and my hair bleach didn’t work at all. So, i really did bear a strong resemblance to Superboy, only i was in a really short skirt and had breasts. It must have been hard to take me seriously in conversation, but it was pretty funny. Meanwhile, by the end of the party one or two of the guys were drunk enough that i was apparently starting to look pretty attractive to them… go figure. Meanwhile, there were 0 people to hit on, which’ll hopefully be different tonight. But, there was a girl dressed as She-ra, which was pretty neat. Also, someone painted themselves in liquid latex so that they could be Mystique… sexy.

Hypothetically, say there’s this girl who you fell for the first time she ever spoke to you. Let’s say you thought her sweetness was a fluke until she started flirting a little. Let’s say you thought it was nothing but then the next week she flirted with you again. Let’s say she put her head on your shoulder. Let’s say she was having a boy friend sleep over for the night, and talks about her nervousness at length. And then let’s say she tells you that she feels like she knows you so well even though you’ve ever spent 4 hours together as you walk her home.

Matt claims innocence in relation to the tub. We have both decided to pretend the murky blue water isn’t there and never ever bathe again.
