Okay, so, after further reading the book comes off like an 18th century blog written by yours truly about his latest obsession. As long as i think of the poor bi-polar lad as a former version of myself it keeps things interesting. Of course, i might have to stop employing that little technique once he gets suicidal…
The post office was (of course) completely sold out of their stupid .01cent stamps, so i had to buy a fresh booklet of .34 stamps even though i have easily ten dollars worth of .33 stamps sitting on my envelope. You’d think they could do something intelligent like honor a first-class letter stamp as a first-class letter stamp no matter what price it was sold at, so that you could use a stamp from 1910 and the mail would still get there. But… noooo, that would be too easy, wouldn’t it? Argh, damned government.
