Well… much in the way the kiss on the cheek thursday night almost went how i wanted it to go but then ended up how i initially intended it, so did my trip to the Cast Party last night. Only, not at all like that. But, somewhat…. errr… nevermind.

Is there a saturation point of loneliness? And, does it come when your at your most lonely? I say that it actually arrives when you’re in the middle … blissfully in the midst of your companions one night and alone the next. Contrast is what makes it worse; knowing that just last night you were happy and laughing and now you’re just worthless. Or something. Anyhow, maybe lust is like that too; maybe you lust for so long that you forget what it really means until you’re reminded of it again. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, but there’s only so fond a heart can get if it can’t remember what she even looked like…

Ah, you see, the peril of knowing me from actual life and also reading the blog is that i reveal *more* in the blog than i ever do in real life, but still hardly anything at all. So, speculation gets you nowhere, because you only know half of what’s going on and it’s probably not the pertinent half anyhow. Yes, i am pure evil. Also, i’m not dying or anything, but i do think i’m getting sick. So,… that’s just to answer your concerned calls, emails, postcards, and letters. Remember, we don’t accept COD.

There should be an eCrush-like service just devoted to physical relationships, called eBooty. You can just write down anyone you’d fancy a shag with (and what sort of shag) and get set up in no time at all! Oh, wait… theSpark.com sorta has that service already…

I find eCrush cute but potentially entangling. It has a system (also in use at theSpark) where you enter your crush’s email, and they receive a note telling them someone has a crush on them. They can ignore it, or go to the site and enter their own crushes, thus dragging in more and more helpless users.
Of course, their system could always be abused to hunt down one’s secret crush so you can tease them mercilessly. Let’s say i recieve a crush note from the site, and it was sent because Girl#1 has a crush on me. I’m not entirely sure who has a crush on me, so i enter in the email address of everyone i know, hoping that i find out it’s someone hot. Instead, i find out Girl#1, who is rather fugly. I wait a day to let all the crush-notices generated by my entries go out (in case i find someone else who likes me), and then I send all my other friend’s an apology, saying i was hunting down my secret crush and had to enter them all in. Ta-Da! And easy and effective way to find out just who digs you without any commitment!
