I won’t know if i got a callback for our Tom Stoppard plays until i get back to campus from work, so when i next talk to y’all i’ll either be free of obligation for the rest of the term or saddled with a fun role in our Fall show. Dunno which i’d prefer….
Well, i definitely like this new Madonna album, but Mirwais Ahmadzai is way too obsessed with electronic vocal processing (a la Cher’s “Believe”). However, the lyrics might not be up to the Ray of Light snuff, but the album as whole is much more pop oriented. Yep, Maddie strikes again.
Track of the day: Madonna’s “I Deserve It.” Possibly the most use of acoustic guitar in a Madonna song since “La Isla Bonita.” And, dude, she’s holding a guitar on the back cover of Music. That just rocks… although i’m still not sure how the cowboy/hillbilly theme in the album art figures into anything.
Okay, i give up! It’s the last week of SurvivorBlog, and Nicci, Kevin, and Ann are racking up the laughs. I honestly don’t know who should win, but whoever survives will deserve every last cent of that wonderful Amazon-dollar prize. So, head over to SurvivorBlog and vote on their last Immunity Challenge.
