Finals update: Three papers due within the next 36 hours. Will leave my apartment for class at 8:45am tomorrow and return at midnite, leaving only 21 hours to work in, not including sleep. But, why in heaven’s name would i include sleep? This should be ultra-fun!

Good Woman of Setzuan will be performed by the Drexel Players at the beginning of March, and the Brecht fable will be put on with song and dance despite it not quite being a musical. Good Woman Of Setzuan is a story about three gods who come to earth to find a single good person, and a overly kind prostitute who takes them in for the night and then attempts to live up to their standards. I get to sing a ballad in the rain, which might actually involve a duet with the lovely Laurel, who was cast as the lead. Life rocks.

My life is just like a national election… every little thing counts for a certain amount of electoral votes that will make sure i live to see another year. The big swing states are my classes – and as we come down to the wire i’m finding some of them harder to call than i intended them to be. The first lock-in was my Guitar class, which is definitely an A. Today i managed to secure a B in my German History class (the one i was continually procrastinating against a week or two ago) and an A in C++. This leaves my three music classes, and the all-important Philosophy. Phil is the Florida of my election, because it’s a college requirement and there’s a slight chance that i could wind up with a C in the course. For me, it’s A, B, or Fail, because i need to maintain a 3.0 or higher to keep all of my groovy scholarships. This week will be totally dedicated to not failing Philosophy. Otherwise, more results as i can call them.

I happen to be locked in the Drexel Recording Studio waiting for a fellow classmate to show up so i can get to work. Yes, i’m locked in a recording studio yet the most productive thing i can find to do is blog. I know, it is ironic.

Meanwhile, i think i finally sorta learned how to flirt. Like… we all went to Denny’s last night, and i kept giving the girl at the table across from us sexy eyes and then she started staring back and stuff. It’s cause i did my hair all sexy, i wish you could see it so you could appreciate it.
