Grawr! In a nasty nasty turn of events, my RealAudio software just expired and i need to get new versions. This blows, because i can’t work on Trio without RealAudio. What’s that? I should be writing my paper? Nonsense! Papers are written in the AM!

One artist who i actually wound up sounding very similar to is Melissa Ferrick. I’m more familiar with the first half of her catalogue, but aside from the fact that she writes in Emajor shapes much more than i do, some of my songs could easily be covers of hers. One in particular is “deadweight” which sounds just like her “‘Till You’re Dead.” Compare audio: me vs. her. If you like Ani DiFranco, the Indigo Girls, or Melissa Etheridge, you should definitely be checking the racks for the album i just linked to, Willing to Wait.

Coolness; Trip is the #1 power blogger, and i think they like Aimee Mann! I’m happy that they made it to #1 (even if they like those dreaded one line posts. So dreaded. Of course, i’m an ego-maniacle Journalism Major, which explains a lot. Yeah, you ought to read the about page more often). So, welcome aboard, babe!

Ugh, i was suppose to go shopping with my mother today. As much as i need food and i’d like to see her, Sunday’s are days that slide by so easily, and i really hate to devote that two hours to something futile and endless like buying food. Now, if we went music shopping, that’d be different…

I always try to visit whoever is in the top ten of PowerBlogger, and often they’re slightly new blogs who are excited about moving up the P.B list one place at a time. And, i sorta feel bad, because on days like yesterday they obviously weren’t going to get past May and I in the top 2 slots. I mean, i got there honestly, without cheating or playing with my layout or anything; i simply made a lot of (long) posts yesterday. But, i remember how much i despised SurviverBlog and Zannah at first because they were always the top two blogs. Of course, on my first day i tied Survivor, and the next day i beat them. I suppose the moral is that if people really wanted to be #1, they’d figure out a way to do it. Ho-Hum. Does anyone want to write a paper about Plato? Uck, and i’ve got to record a Trio, don’t i. Uck…
