So why are we just reading it now? Our This Week in X crew skipped Wolverine: Black White & Blood #1 back in November because we were deep in the throes of X of Swords, but now we’re back to pick apart each of these three three-color Wolverine stories, presented in stark Black, White, and Red.

It’s This Week in X for Hellions (2020) #7, released 2 December 2020!

We’re taking a slightly different approach to This Week in X this week – each issue gets its own video, released one per day.

Hellions (2020) #7 is another twisted delight from Zeb Wells as we see the ramifications of the full team wipe from last issue – and, especially, the results of dying in Amenth. What unstable resurrection spurs Sinister’s next mission for the team? And, what is the surprising reveal that makes Fallen Angels relevant again?

We’re intrigued with Sinister’s schemes and how they affect the newly “honed” team. (Honed how, exactly?) Plus, Mr. Sinister has… fans (?) in Psylocke (?) and Clive (?), and we see a familiar face at the end!

It’s our first week in the wake of X of Swords, and we have a lot to say about the aftermath. X-Factor (2020) #5 – Resurrection Drama and The Krakoan Community | This Week in X!

It’s “This Week in X” for X-Factor (2020) #5, released 2 December 2020! This is a full-spoilers post and episode.X-Factor (2020) #5

The premise set up by this issue is that The Five want X-Factor’s oversight on more than just proof of death. They’re asking them for the go-ahead to continue with resurrections after Rockslide’s troubled return at the beginning of X of Swords (the details which it doesn’t seem like Lorna has shared with the rest of this group).

X-Factor (2020) #5 really needed this episode all to itself to spread out, because there are a STAGGERING amount of characters for us to cover in this issue – so many we don’t quite mention them all (sorry Mercury!).

We discuss many of those characters; the post-X of Swords resurrection drama as it relates to Wind Dancer, Rockslide, and Gorgon; Leah Williams’ masterful Emma Frost; terrific and heartbreaking data pages; and how well Leah Williams and David Baldeon weave a complex sense of community on Krakoa.

We’re back again with another installment of our Epic (Re)Read of X-Men from the beginning of Chris Claremont tenure!

In this episode we discuss Claremont’s first big “hated and feared” plot as the Sentinels attack in Uncanny X-Men (1963) #98-99, as well as a pair of stories he inserts around that in back-ups from Classic X-Men (1986) #6-7.This story contains Peter’s favorite Jean Grey panel OF ALL TIME!

Our conversation includes some minor spoilers for House of X and Powers of X, so beware.

If you want us to continue this series in the long term, we need to keep hearing that you’re watching and reading along. We’ve shot a complete “pilot season” to get us to the M’kraan Crystal and back, but whether we return for the introduction of Wolverine’s Canadian backstory in UX #109 is up to you.
