One of the aforementioned sudden flirtations comes from a girl who is an absolute doppleganger of Anastasia, who (if you recall) i was madly in love with for my last year and a half of high school. Of course, now i can’t do anything about it at all because i’d be a lousy cheating bastard, but what really gets me is that i have my stage managers heckling me the whole time i’m talking to the girl, as if i’m gonna lean in and start necking with her. I have my own damned conscience to deal with!, i don’t need anyone else’s. I swear… people just don’t get me at all.

So, yeah, um… isn’t it interesting how suddenly all these cute girls who’d normally never give me the time of day are flirting with me? I mean… it isn’t like i’m any more attractive than i was two weeks ago, so unless i’m suddenly putting off pheromones (and strong ones, at that), i really don’t see why these people are flirting with me. It isn’t fair! I mean… obviously it feels very nice to be paid attention to, but they’ve picked the one time in my life i can’t flirt back. Argh! Women.

I’ve lost touch with everything this week. I don’t think i’ve read any of my daily logs except for Re and WockerJabby, i barely ever check my email, and i’m not even on IM 24/7 like i usually am. I thought i was disguising all of this rather well on here with my inane jabber about the weather and how bipolar i am, but apparently you – the astute reader – have managed to glean a bit more information from this than i intended (or, you’ve been snooping on me over at SurvivorBlog2 even though i warned you that i’m a whorey little minx over there). For those of you who haven’t keeping up, let me present the evidence: OhMy!, a spectacle, close-up, sleeping-where?, and the self-referential allusions to things people know nothing about. Cast Parties are notoriously highly drunken incidents where approximately one fifth of those in attendance make an absolutely spectacle of themselves and don’t ever live it down. I always make sure to make a spectacle of myself so that i’ll always live in infamy,… at least until the next party. Last night was pretty tame, mostly because all of the Freshmen got their big first-time-drunk experience out of the way already, and everyone else was still recovering from New Year’s. As a testament to the amount of responsibility that was occurring, no one got flagged until past 3am, which isn’t such a bad time to be flagged. True to form, i made sure that i would be reminded about the party every day in the weeks to come. I’m almost afraid to go on instant messenger, because i’ll be deluged by comments from whoever’s on. Of course, they’re probably still all sleeping off their hangovers :p

But, while i’m awake i should probably tell you that i did something that was really uncharacteristic of me tonight, while remaining totally within character. While many of my friends were shocked (though not appalled), in the end their opinion of me didn’t change at all. And, as it turns out, i’m not an asshole! Isn’t that cool? So, i’m thinkin’ that maybe y’all need to guess what would be out of character for me, and what i could do to make it in character. Or, you could wait until i wake up and then i might tell you. Yeah… sure… have fun with that wait of yours. Otherwise, guess your best guess!
