Captain America has scored just a single 2025 omnibus announcement with Captain America by Mark Gruenwald Vol. 2 – the second of four planned volumes of Gruenwald’s decade-long run on Captain America. However, that doesn’t fully tell the story of recent Cap omnis, since he got two new books in 2024 (Captain America by Mark Gruenwald Vol. 1 and Captain America by Nick Spencer Vol. 2), plus all three of his existing classic omnis got a reprint in 2024 followed by a rebranding of Captain America by Jack Kirby as Captain America Vol. 4.

What does that mean for Captain America omnibuses? We’d still need well over a dozen books to collect all of his material in oversize hardcover, but we’re nearing complete coverage in the 80s, 00s, and 10s.

It has been slow-going for Punisher omnibuses the last few years, with the Disney-fied Marvel seemingly hesitant to promote some of its more violent comic books in prestige omnibus format. While we’ve had several Punisher reprints, including Punisher by Rick Remender a few weeks ago, we haven’t had a new Punisher solo omnibus since 2018!!!

Hulk has scored just one newly-announced omnibus in 2025, The Incredible Hulk Vol. 3 in the classic line as it cracks into his Bronze Age material. That leaves us with plenty of Hulk books to vote on! He is considerably under-collected as a character compared to this cousin Jennifer Walters – She-Hulk has some pretty outstanding coverage in omnibus!

Daredevil is back on screen with his new Disney+ series wrapping up this week, but the new show only yielded one new omnibus announced for 2025 – the long-demanded Daredevil by Nocenti & Romita Jr. Vol. 1, which has ranked in the Top 25 of all 12 years of the Tigereyes poll before cresting at #1 in 2024.

That likely means a second Nocenti volume could arrive to coincide with a second season of Daredevil: Born Again, but what about the read of Horn-Heads material – plus over forty years of Elektra comics that have never been in oversize format?!
