Once every year, thousands of Marvel collectors from around the world gather together online to watch Near Mint Condition and vote on their most-wanted omnibus titles. That time approaches – time for the Tigereyes Most Wanted Marvel Omnibus 14th Annual Secret Ballot! This post explains every Marvel UK omnibus map – including Death’s Head & Dark Angel – for material that has not yet been collected comprehensively in omnibus – all of which will appear as options on the 2026 poll.
As one of the organizers of the poll, I work closely with Tigereyes and a team of Mapping Minties to be sure Marvel’s entire publishing history has been mapped, with every issue fitting somewhere into an omnibus volume to fill your oversize Marvel shelf. Then, we’ll kick off the poll on Near Mint Condition on March 22, 2026.
Sadly, Marvel hasn’t moved an inch on reprinting anything having to do with Marvel UK. That’s not surprising, since none of the characters have made any present day continuity appearances lately. We have just two Marvel UK omnibuses so far, both from 2022 – the massive Captain Britain Omnibus with all of his pre-Excalibur appearances and the subsequent Knights of Pendragon Omnibus (in which Captain Britain also appears). That latter book is the only example of a comprehensively collected Marvel UK series.
For this post, we’re just going to focus on Marvel’s own Marvel UK material – and not licensed Doctor Who or Transformers material, which made up the bulk of Marvel UK original content prior to 1990. Since none of these books or maps have changed since last year, I put in a little bit of extra oomph in adding new details to these write-ups to tempt you to vote for these books. I truly love them all (and own them all) and it would be a thrill to see Marvel print them all in omnibus.
I just need it to happen at a frequency higher than one per decade, because I might not live quite that long!
