It’s Sunday, and that means it’s time for a Krisis on YouTube! Except… my intrepid, never-nominated, rarely-rewarded hair and makeup team were not available this morning in New Zealand. So, enjoy me running through dozens of new comics that have arrived in my house over the past four months while wearing a Luchador mask and Wigs by Vanity wig.

It’s another Classic Collection version of Haul Around the World, shot BEFORE my big move! This was my order from mid-February 2019.
In this order I get to freak out with excitement over Marvel hitting a number of very different gaps in their color collections coverage – the end of Luke Cage’s original solo title, the post-Claremont pre-Davis gap in Excalibur, Monica Rambeau’s solo stories as Captain Marvel and the deeply weird Punisher: Revelations.
Plus… a tease of the next oversize book to hit my shelf, which might be my most-anticipated omnibus of the decade!

When I was packing for my move from Philadelphia to Wellington there was one last book missing from my complete oversize Uncanny X-Men shelf, but I couldn’t bring myself to purchase it … because it already made me quit comics once before.

I unwrap the newest addition to my oversize hardcover X-Men collection – a copy of The Wedding of Cyclops & Phoenix! I make the case for why this book has the wrong title, talk about Sabretooth’s arc in the early 90s X-Men, and explain why this might be the best oversize collection for fans of X-Men: The Animated Series.
