It’s time to map the DC Universe! In June, I’ll be joining with Near Mint Condition to launch the Tigereyes Most Wanted DC Omnibus 2nd Annual Poll! This post explains every Wonder Woman omnibus that does NOT exist – all of which will appear as options on the 2025 poll.

Through the end of May I’ll be covering DC entire publishing history by mapping missing omnibus volumes to fill in every gap in your DC oversize shelf! That’s all leading to the kickoff of the Tigereyes Most Wanted DC Omnibus 2nd Annual Poll on Near Mint Condition the first week of June.

This is my blog and my mappings, so I’m starting with my favorite character!

This year has been incredible for Wonder Woman omnibus volumes! We not only got the long-awaited and oft-delayed Golden Age Wonder Woman Vol. 6, but we also have announcements for a final Silver Age volume and Wonder Woman by Greg Rucka and Wonder Woman by John Byrne!

This week in Image Comics: Kirkman’s Blood & Thunder debuts, a new arc for Kaya, a final arc for Farmhand, the Moon is nearly done following us, recollected Invincible, Snake-Eyes goes undercover, and more!

The Krisis Pick of the Week: Since I’m not caught up on Kaya (2022) I can’t pick the start of it’s new arc! Failing that, I think I have to go with Blood & Thunder (2025) #1, which sounds like a sci-fi take on Fairlady (2019) – on of my favorite Image books of the past decade.

This post includes every comic out from Image Comics this week on May 7 2025, plus collected editions. This isn’t the typical comic releases post you can find on other sites. Why? I explain each collection and comment on every series with a new issue out this week to help you figure out if they’re for you.

This week in DC Comics: Things get explosive for Birds of Prey, Absolute Braniac, New 52 omnis for Suicide Squad & Nightwing, Atom Project & Black Canary deliver their finales, Zdarsky’s final Batman collection, compact Kingdom Come, and more!

The Krisis Pick of the Week: Despite my heart beating faster just from thinking of reading Absolute Superman (2024) #7, this week I have to go with Birds of Prey (2023) #21 from Kelly Thompson, Sami Basri, Adriano Lucas, and Clayton Cowles! The script for issue #20 was nearly as good as the instant-classic script for #1, and the cliffhanger has had me wanting a follow-up all month long!

This post includes every comic out from DC Comics May 7 2025, plus collected editions in omnibus, hardcover, paperback, and digest-sized formats.

A word of warning – despite overall loving DC’s output right now, this is probably my least-favorite release week slate from DC in each month. Buckle up for some ruthless reviews.
