It’s time to map the DC Universe! In June, I’ll be joining with Near Mint Condition to launch the Tigereyes Most Wanted DC Omnibus 2nd Annual Poll! This post explains every Batman Family omnibus that does NOT exist – all of which will appear as options on the 2025 poll.

Through the end of May I’ll be covering DC entire publishing history by mapping missing omnibus volumes to fill in every gap in your DC oversize shelf! That’s all leading to the kickoff of the Tigereyes Most Wanted DC Omnibus 2nd Annual Poll on Near Mint Condition the first week of June.

What is the Batman Family? For this purposes of this post, it’s non-villainous members of the extended Batman cast who have three or fewer potential omnibus volumes to their name. This post covers Azrael, Batman Beyond, Batwing, Batwoman, Huntress, Ghost-Maker, Gotham Academy, and more!

What about the more popular and enduring members of the family? I made posts earlier today about Nightwing, Red Hood, & Robin(s) and Gotham City Sirens – Catwoman, Poison Ivy, & Harley Quinn. I’ll be back tomorrow with Batgirl & The Birds of Prey. And, all of DC’s Villains will be collected in their own post next week.

It’s time to map the DC Universe! In June, I’ll be joining with Near Mint Condition to launch the Tigereyes Most Wanted DC Omnibus 2nd Annual Poll! This post explains every Catwoman, Poison Ivy, & Harley Quinn omnibus that does NOT exist – all of which will appear as options on the 2025 poll.

The Gotham City Sirens – AKA Catwoman, Poison Ivy, & Harley Quinn – are somewhat under-served in the omnibus department. We have a stellar Ed Brubaker run on Catwoman, their shared series as the Sirens, and a trio of Jimmy Palmiotti & Amanda Conner omnis for Harley.

But, we don’t have any classic Catwoman or Ivy stories, none of Catwoman’s lengthy 90s series or the run after Brubaker, and none of Harley’s early comic years – not to mention modern omnibuses beyond Palmiotti/Conner’s work.

When it comes to Batman’s sons, only one of them has had a good year in omnibus – Dick Grayson AKA Nightwing. Yet, even with a pair of Rebirth era omnis out for Dick this year, all of his pre-Flashpoint material remains uncollected in everyone’s favorite oversize format save for one Bronze Age volume as Robin.

Meanwhile, Tim Drake and Damian Wayne have no solo omnis to show for themselves, and Jason Todd as Red Hood has just one (which was reprinted this year, so maybe DC is teeing up for a second one)!

If you want to see Batman’s boys in oversize format, you need to vote for their books!

It’s time to map the DC Universe! In June, I’ll be joining with Near Mint Condition to launch the Tigereyes Most Wanted DC Omnibus 2nd Annual Poll! This post explains every Batman omnibus that does NOT exist – all of which will appear as options on the 2025 poll.

Batman does as much collected editions business for DC as the collections of entire other publishers! We’ll have a total of five Batman solo omnibuses in 2025 – including just one Pre-Flashpoint, one New 52, and three from Rebirth to present.

While that sounds like a lot, there’s so much Batman not collected in omnibus, including a ton of hotly-demanded runs. Fans desperately want DC to crack into the 70s and 80s of Batman, and while the DC Finest collections may have slightly cooled the desires for an immediately Post-Crisis collection, there are still some obvious gaps in the late-90s.

I sincerely believe DC will be taking a close look at the votes on this poll to decide on their upcoming slate of Batman omnis, especially for Pre-Flashpoint material. Every Missing Aquaman Omnibus, Mapped | 2025 Tigereyes Most Wanted DC Omnibus Poll

It’s time to map the DC Universe! In June, I’ll be joining with Near Mint Condition to launch the Tigereyes Most Wanted DC Omnibus 2nd Annual Poll! This post explains every Aquaman omnibus that does NOT exist – all of which will appear as options on the 2025 poll.

Aquaman isn’t historically a strong seller for DC in collected editions. Even a pair of films didn’t prompt DC to release any omnibuses to support them.

As a result, we have just two Aquaman omnibuses to date – his historic and much-beloved mid-90s run by Peter David, and Geoff Johns scripting him at the start of Flashpoint. That’s it! No Golden, Silver, or Bronze Age material. Nothing from the 2000s. And, nothing from after Johns’ run.

If you want to see more Aquaman omnibuses from DC in the future, a vote on this poll is one of the only ways to let them know aside from buying the remaining copies of that Peter David book!
