It’s time to map the DC Universe! In June, I’ll be joining with Near Mint Condition to launch the Tigereyes Most Wanted DC Omnibus 2nd Annual Poll! This post explains every Hawkman omnibus that does NOT exist – all of which will appear as options on the 2025 poll.

Through the end of May I’ll be covering DC entire publishing history by mapping missing omnibus volumes to fill in every gap in your DC oversize shelf! That’s all leading to the kickoff of the Tigereyes Most Wanted DC Omnibus 2nd Annual Poll on Near Mint Condition the first week of June.

Hawkman only has one slim omnibus to his name – and that’s entirely due to the writer: Geoff Johns. That’s despite there being a murderer’s row of talent on other Hawkman runs – including Jenny Blake Isabella, John Ostrander, William Messner-Loebs, Jimmy Palmiotti, Walt Simonson, & Robert Venditti!

There are several of those runs I’d love to see in omnibus – especially Ostrander’s 90s material, including Hawkworld. But, it was Robert Vendetti’s run (another book I love) that almost made the on-air results last year. Will it squeak in this year? You have the power to make it happen!

It’s time to map the DC Universe! In June, I’ll be joining with Near Mint Condition to launch the Tigereyes Most Wanted DC Omnibus 2nd Annual Poll! This post explains every Flash omnibus that does NOT exist – all of which will appear as options on the 2025 poll.

If Batman, Green Lantern, and Justice League occupy DC’s top tier of characters who get prioritized for omnibus coverage, Flash is not too far behind. DC has started (but not quite finished) omnibus lines for all his other major single-writer periods – William Messner-Loebs, Mark Waid, Geoff Johns, and Joshua Williamson.

Outside of completing those runs, what’s left? All of the Golden and Bronze Ages, plus a gap during New 52 and the period after Williamson. That means there are plenty of Flash book still to come even when DC completes all four of those popular periods.

Finally, 2025 will bring us the first Birds of Prey omnibus! But, DC isn’t starting at the start – they’re jumping in at the middle with Gail Simone’s run. If you want to see the equally popular Chuck Dixon material that started the series… or anything from after Simone… you have to get to voting!

Meanwhile, Batgirl has a decent array of omnibuses on her own, but that’s just for Barbara Gordon as Batgirl. From the results of last year’s poll, I can tell you she’s not even the most popular of the three major Batgirls! And, Black Canary doesn’t have any solo omnibuses printed, but she could notch a few – as well as some duo books with Green Arrow.

It’s time to map the DC Universe! In June, I’ll be joining with Near Mint Condition to launch the Tigereyes Most Wanted DC Omnibus 2nd Annual Poll! This post explains every Catwoman, Poison Ivy, & Harley Quinn omnibus that does NOT exist – all of which will appear as options on the 2025 poll.

The Gotham City Sirens – AKA Catwoman, Poison Ivy, & Harley Quinn – are somewhat under-served in the omnibus department. We have a stellar Ed Brubaker run on Catwoman, their shared series as the Sirens, and a trio of Jimmy Palmiotti & Amanda Conner omnis for Harley.

But, we don’t have any classic Catwoman or Ivy stories, none of Catwoman’s lengthy 90s series or the run after Brubaker, and none of Harley’s early comic years – not to mention modern omnibuses beyond Palmiotti/Conner’s work.

It’s time to map the DC Universe! In June, I’ll be joining with Near Mint Condition to launch the Tigereyes Most Wanted DC Omnibus 2nd Annual Poll! This post explains every Batman omnibus that does NOT exist – all of which will appear as options on the 2025 poll.

Batman does as much collected editions business for DC as the collections of entire other publishers! We’ll have a total of five Batman solo omnibuses in 2025 – including just one Pre-Flashpoint, one New 52, and three from Rebirth to present.

While that sounds like a lot, there’s so much Batman not collected in omnibus, including a ton of hotly-demanded runs. Fans desperately want DC to crack into the 70s and 80s of Batman, and while the DC Finest collections may have slightly cooled the desires for an immediately Post-Crisis collection, there are still some obvious gaps in the late-90s.

I sincerely believe DC will be taking a close look at the votes on this poll to decide on their upcoming slate of Batman omnis, especially for Pre-Flashpoint material.
